Yes, Pilates is a great for Beginners. The equipment helps to support the body through movement and all the exercises can be adapted.

Pilates 1:1 you are learning a comprehensive system of exercises using all the apparatus under the guidance of one of our skilled and experienced teachers, the entire workout will be tailored to you and your unique requirements, what you feel your body needs and work on goals you may have and discovering new ones.

Yes, for some people it has been reported it can really help. At PM Pilates we take an individual approach and adapt according to individual needs.

Regular practice of Pilates can indeed contribute to transforming the shape of your body. When combined with a healthy eating plan, Pilates has been reported to have a profound impact on your physique and the way you move.

You are welcome to wear attire that allows you to move freely.  Whether you prefer bare feet or sticky socks, both options are suitable.  We kindly ask you to avoid clothing with zippers for added comfort and safety during your Pilates session.

Our entire team has undergone comprehensive training and have years of experience teaching Pilates.  We take pride in being ‘classically trained teachers’, which means we have received training in the original works of Joseph H. Pilates, the creator of Pilates.

Absolutely you can.  At PM Pilates we will guide you every step of the way and like everyone who joins you will start with our ‘Induction package’ which is 3 private 1:1 session.  This will give you the confidence to go into a small class if you wish.

Yes, this is something that is possible to do and will depend on the space on our current schedule. We are more than happy to discuss this with you.

You’re welcome to start with either option, they offer completely different experiences. At the studio you will be working with springs which provide great body support during movement, while the Matwork requires you to work with your body weight. The Reformer is just one of many pieces of equipment. You can experience a wide range of exercises, lying, kneeling, standing.  It has a carriage attached to springs and your get to experience working on a moving base of support.

If you are new to Pilates, like most exercise programmes, you should build up slowly. Therefore 1-2 times a week is considered ideal.  However, frequency may vary depending on the individual preference, goals, and physical abilities. It’s important to listen to your body and find a out what works best for you.

Your personal training session can be held in a variety of locations, making it super convenient for you! You have the option to choose between the studio, the park, your home, or even online and this way you can keep your fitness regime on track.
