What is Pilates Matwork?
Matwork Pilates is not just your regular workout, it’s a unique conditioning programme performed on the mat and using your own body weight so, no equipment needed.
This is an opportunity to learn and experience the full repertoire of movements which were originally designed by the late Joseph Pilates himself.
So, what can you expect?
We only take up to 10 people in our online classes, and if you have not experienced an online class before at Pure Movement, you will be pleasantly surprised by the community feel which has been kept alive, you won’t even realise you’re not in the studio.
As you learn to master each exercise, you’ll begin to build strength and endurance.
You can expect to feel stronger and move with ease as you progress in the workout.
There’s nothing like that feeling of accomplishment when you’re flowing from one exercise to the next like a Pilates pro.
Our teachers can see everyone on screen so there is no nipping off for a cheeky cuppa. They will be there to guide you every step of the way, offering personalised modifications and adjustments when needed to help you get the most out of each exercise.
